Dr. Agarwala has undergone advanced and rigorous training in Invasive Cardiology at G B Pant Hospital, New Delhi, and has vast experience having started his practice in early 1990 and introduced modern Cardiology to Western Uttar Pradesh. He is well versed in the art and science of Dynamic Electrocardiography, Colour Doppler Echocardiography, Catheterisation, Angiography, Pacemaker Implantation, Coronary Angioplasty and Balloon Valvotomy.
Dr. Agarwala did his MBBS from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, where he won the Pfizer Medallion for being the All-round Topper in the MBBS examinations. He was awarded several Gold Medals as well. He later obtained an MD in Medicine from the same University, and further added a DM in Cardiology from Delhi University, through G B Pant Hospital, New Delhi.
Dr. Agarwala has conducted a number of Medical Camps in urban and rural areas for the benefit of economically backward patients, which have been attended by about 5,000 patients till date. Dr. Agarwala is one of the Pioneers in Pacemaker Implantation in Meerut and has been organising free Pacemaker Implantation Camps since February 2001, in collaboration with Pace International, USA.
Dr. Agarwala has published a number of papers in reputed National and International Journals. He has also attended and made Presentations at Conferences, Symposia and Meetings both in India and abroad and has given many lectures for Public Awareness on Heart Attack, Heart Disease and Diabetes. In 1996, Dr. Agarwala was awarded the Meerut Ratna from the All India Intellectual Society, and in October 2007, he was decorated by Vaishya Samaj, Meerut, for Outstanding Services to Society.
